I built the data visualization featuring the data-driven investigative story Racial gaps remain in gifted programs, AJC analysis finds. By using risk ratio, the interactive shows that the percentage of minority students in the gifted and talented classrooms proportionally lagged behind the share of white students in Metro Atlanta school districts from 2010 to 2013.
