Text widget border highlight/active not respecting the theme colours

robertalexa opened this issue · 1 comments

Desktop (please complete the following information):

ttkbootstrap 1.10.1
OS ubuntu 23.10

Describe the bug

The Text widget does not seem to take into account the border highlight/active properties (colour, width) of the theme, among other limitations.

@israel-dryer I suspect this to be a bug, but not sure if this is actually by design. Is this something where you think you can extend ttkbootstrap functionality?

Thanks in advance

I actually wonder if the problem is actually different.

It appears the first time you apply a rule, it is not being used. If you apply it a second time, the values from the first attempt are being used.

Here is a good example:

To reach this, i have actually swapped between 2 custom themes in ttk creator and ended up with the Text widget having the styling from the previous theme still applied.
