Picasso Localize parameters explanation

Hi there,

Could anyone please provide more detailed explanation for the parameters in the "Photon conversion" group?

From the manual:

  1. "Baseline" is the average dark camera count. By default, it is set to 100. What kind of units does this refer to? What should one put for the Andor iXon Life 897 which has a typical dark count rate of less than 0.001 electrons per pixel per second at -85°C?
  2. "Sensitivity" is the conversion factor (electrons per analog-to-digital (A/D) count). By default, it is set to 1. Again, what kind of units does this refer to? What should one put for the Andor iXon Life 897 which typically has an analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion factor of approximately 0.09 electrons per A/D count?

Thanks,
Anton
