Experiment. Why not?
THIS IS ALL EXPERIMENTAL USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Utilities to manage special workspaces. Create a special workspace with 3 different options:
- Active Window
- Class
- Command (TODO)
Move the current active window into a special workspace. Optionally register a keybind to toggle the special workspace.
# moves the active window into the workspace 'hyprrdrop-term'
hyprrdrop register active term
# the same as above, but register a keybind for it
hyprrdrop register -k "SUPER, T" active term
# use -f to force assign the bind
hyprrdrop register -k "SUPER, T" -f active term
These keybinds are dynamic, which means a compositor restart or hyprctl reload
will remove the binds.
A restore function for these is being considered.
Moves all windows that match a WM_CLASS into a special workspace:
# moves all windows with the class kitty-term into the workspace hyprrdrop-term
hyprrdrop register class term "kitty-term"
Unimplemented.
Toggles a special workspace in the hyprrdrop namespace.
# toggles the special workspace hyprrtoggle-term
hyprrdrop toggle term
Ensure Rust and Cargo are installed.
