Job Search and Interview Prep Resources for Developers

Over the years, I've collected some good resources for job searching and interview prep. While I'm NOT looking right now, I have friends who are, so I wanted to share this list. If you have something to add, please submit a PR or add an Issue and I'll get it added ASAP.

Wondering if you should stay or quit? Check out this great video by Tim Corey.

Random advice

  • Be active on LinkedIn.
  • During your job search, pay for LinkedIn Premium if for no other reason than you can see who is viewing your profile! It also gives you access to LinkedIn Learning, and believe it or not, there are some solid courses!
  • As difficult as it can be, try to be nice to recruiters. You NEVER know when or how they'll be able to help you.
  • Create a blog on your own domain, or if that's not an option, write on a platform like Medium. Get your ideas and knowledge out there!
