Description:

Determine the genomic relationship between hyposmia and Parkinson's disease (PD) using shared heritability analyses (genetic correlation) and Mendelian randomization. To this end, we use linkage disequilibrium score regression (LDSC.ipynb), Local Analysis of [co]Variant Association (LAVA.ipynb), and Two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR.ipynb).

Software and packages used:

  • Python v3.7
  • R v4.2
  • LDSC v1.0.1
  • LAVA v0.1.0
  • TwoSampleMR v0.5.7
  • data.table v1.14.0
  • tidyverse v2.0.0
  • vroom v1.0.0
  • LocusCompareR v1.0.0
