CarFun is an Augmented Reality app that allows you to interact with a 3D car model in the Landscape mode and is compatible with Android 7.0 or higher. Check if your device is compatible here. To use the app, follow the steps below.
- Download the CarFun.apk file in your mobile device.
- If not automatically installed, install Google Play Services for AR to run the app. If you already have it, check for any updates.
- Open the app. You'll see the following UI.
- Before placing the car, scan your environment deliberately with the phone's camera to see ambient reflections on the car.
- Now, position the blue circle at some location and place the car's model there using the Place Car button.
- You can hide the blue circle and the Place Car button using the UI button on the top-right.
- After placing the car, you can
- Change its color using the Color Palette button on the top-left. By pressing the button again, the colour UI can be hidden.
- Scale, rotate, or drag it with your fingers.

Note: The app requires good lighting to function correctly. In the event of low light, the app will notify you as seen below.
