Connecting with the simulation drone

Hi, I've been going through the tutorial here.

I'm having problems where the script waiting for the drone states.
Before the drone even takes off the script moves onto the next step.
I changed the _timeout parameters to 10 (originally 5) but still didn't do the thing.

I am currently using the following environment
Ubuntu 16.04
python 3.5.2
Parrot-Sphinx 1.2.1

Hi, I just restarted my computer and tried it out again, it works perfectly now.
I'm guessing I had too much junk in my computer that I needed to clear, it was working pretty slow.
