URGENT: dependency breakage and requirements problems

Hi everyone, I am struggling a bit with the deployment.

Although arax.ci.transltr.io seemed to be working fine, today's deployment to arax.test.transltr.io failed.

My hypothesis is that one of the validator or Biolink dependencies is broken in PyPI, and so on deployment, a broken dependency is being downloaded and causing the failure. Although I am not certain.

My first attempted solution was to freeze the packages on arax.ncats.io and use that as the requirements.txt. As you may have noticed, this causes dependabot to freak out because we're behind there.

I could really use help from someone who knows what they're doing on requirements and deployment testing. Cutting from pasting from stackoverflow is apparently not working for me.
