Removing all inputs fails (genepanel)

If I put in two input terms, then delete one of the terms, I get the little working badge that says "Reorganizing gene list" and then I get the new list based on the remaining term.

If I only put in one term and then remove that, I get the same message, but it never finishes. If it's easy to detect that this will remove all terms, the confirmation modal and working message could be updated to reflect that everything will be cleared, but either way, the result should be that everything clears
