Before the phenotyping, we should have a schematic to more extensively introduce the benefit of the mutants. This was a core idea of the whole project—that RTKs activate a bunch of things, so assigning the pathways responsible for effects can be challenging. By making "copies" of a receptor with certain things broken, one can then tease apart the individual downstream signaling elements.
