  • New term : normal polyphosphatase activity
A molecular function phenotype in which the observed rate of a polyphosphatase activity is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type).

  • New term : abolished polyphosphatase activity
A molecular function phenotype in which a polyphosphatase activity is absent.

  • New term : increased cellular 1,5-IP8 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 1,5-bisdiphospho-1D-myo-inositol 2,3,4,6-tetrakisphosphate (1,5-IP8) measured in a cell is higher than normal.

CHEBI:62923 1,5-bis(diphospho)-1D-myo-inositol 2,3,4,6-tetrakisphosphate

  • New term : increased cellular 5-IP7 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 5-diphospho-1D-myo-inositol 1,2,3,4,6-pentakisphosphate (5-IP7) is higher than normal.

  • New term : increased cellular 1-IP7 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 1-diphospho-1D-myo-inositol 2,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate (1-IP7) is higher than normal.

  • These next 3 will require the parent term "decreased cellular myo-inositol level" to mirror the ancestry of the 'increased' term (ADDED LOGICAL DEF)

  • New term : decreased cellular 1,5-IP8 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 1,5-bisdiphospho-1D-myo-inositol 2,3,4,6-tetrakisphosphate (1,5-IP8) measured in a cell is lower than normal.

  • New term : decreased cellular 5-IP7 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 5-diphospho-1D-myo-inositol 1,2,3,4,6-pentakisphosphate (5-IP7) is lower than normal.

  • The last 2 will require the parent term "normal cellular moo-inositol level" to match the ancestry of the 'altered' terms (ADDED LOGICAL DEF)

  • New term : normal cellular 5-IP7 level
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the amount of 5-diphospho-1D-myo-inositol 1,2,3,4,6-pentakisphosphate (5-IP7) is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type).

logical defs require "polyphosphatase activity"
logical defs require CHEBI terms for
1-IP7
5-IP7
1,5-IP8

There is still a problem here, when I select the "normal polyphosphatase activity" phenotype in the search bar, the following window loads forever (I tried leaving it for several minutes, it stayed the same)

CC @kimrutherford any ideas? it seems this term is specifically affected, but it looks OK in Protege?

It looks like at some in the past we loaded "normal polyphosphatase activity" / FYPO:0008275 with the namespace "fission__yeast_phenotype". A FYPO typo? This term has hung around because the Canto ontology update isn't smart enough to remove it.

I've removed it manually so "normal polyphosphatase activity" should be OK in Canto now. There are no other terms with that dodgy namespace.

Yup, that works now !
