Sorry that I apparently missed this question!

It looks like the fork changed pyqt to version 5, which is also done here on the "kinetic" branch. I just tested it on my melodic installation and the kinetic branch appears to also work for melodic.

I am doing a debian package release now for melodic.

Apparently I missed that branch and yes, the kinetic branch works for me as well.

Thanks in advance for the effort of making it a real package. It's a super great tool that I just recently discovered. More visibility would do a good job for the community.
