Describe the solution you'd like
Add a new predicate biolink:is_active_metabolite_of / biolink:has_active_metabolite that would be child of biolink:is_metabolite_of / biolink:has_metabolite

@vdancik - can we discuss this at a Chemical WG meeting

this is a metabolized chemical rather than a metabolite produce in-situ.

"An active metabolite specifically refers to a metabolite that retains pharmacological activity—that is, it has the ability to produce a therapeutic or physiological effect. Active metabolites are often of interest in pharmacology and drug development because they contribute to the overall pharmacological profile of a drug, including its efficacy and safety.

So, while all active metabolites are metabolites, not all metabolites are necessarily active in producing pharmacological effects. In Inxight Drugs, these distinctions likely help users understand the metabolic pathways of drugs and their metabolites, as well as their potential clinical significance."
